Nicole Marrone received a Ph.D. in Audiology from Boston University in 2007 and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University in 2010. Dr. Marrone’s research is in the area of hearing science and rehabilitative audiology. Her work is focused on the interaction between hearing loss and cognitive factors in auditory perception and how audiologic interventions, such as hearing aids and auditory training, impact listening in everyday environments that contain multiple competing sources and reverberation.
