To collaboratively define areas of concern, local issues, research priorities, education needs and resources relevant to how to manage age-related hearing loss in Hispanic/Latinx communities.

Hearing loss is a growing public health concern with the aging population in general; greater access and affordability of care are needed (NASEM, 2016). |

Hearing health care disparities exists in the US for Hispanic/Latinos (Nieman, Marrone, Szanton, Thorpe, & Lin, 2016). |

Data on hearing aid use show that 95% of Hispanic/Latino adults with hearing loss are untreated (Arnold et al., 2019). |

The Stakeholder Advisory Board of the Hispanic Hearing Healthcare Access Coalition (H3 Coalition) meets locally and virtually across Arizona and Florida, in English and Spanish, with communication access facilitated by real-time captioning as requested by attendees.
